Robert Cameto, MD, is a practicing orthopedic surgeon for more than 30 years in the Carmichael area. Dr. Cameto is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He enjoys working with patients through their evaluation, treatment and recovery to ensure the quickest return to normal activity.
Dr. Cameto earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine. He then completed a general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Cameto subsequently completed an advanced fellowship at the Duchess of Kent Children's Orthopaedic Hospital in Hong Kong. Dr. Cameto is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Hunter Greene, MD, has treated hundreds of patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions, helping them to live life to the fullest. Dr. Greene is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in pediatric and adult sports medicine, including arthroscopic shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle techniques. He also serves as the team doctor for the United Football League's Sacramento Mountain Lions. Dr. Greene enjoys leading his patients to full recovery and allowing them to return to their respective activities.
Dr. Greene earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed a general surgery internship at the UC Davis Medical Center. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital and fellowship training in sports medicine and pediatric sports medicine from UC San Francisco. Dr. Greene is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the California Orthopaedic Association and the Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.

Amir Jamali, MD, specializes in treating adolescent and adult patients with hip and knee disease. He specializes in complex cases which may require treatments such as osteotomy (bone realignment), cartilage transplantation, as well as partial and total joint replacement. His clinical and research efforts have focused on preserving joints for as long as possible prior to joint replacement. Many of his patients have relatively rare diagnoses such as hip dysplasia or newly defined diagnoses such as hip impingement. One of Dr. Jamali's goals is to provide patients adequate education so that they can make the most informed decision about their care. Combining patient education with a broad range of non-surgical and surgical options has been one of Dr. Jamali's primary efforts.
Dr. Jamali's clinical and research interests include joint preservation surgeries of the hip and knee including periacetabular osteotomy, proximal femoral osteotomy, hip arthroscopy, arthroscopic and open treatment of hip impingement, articular cartilage restoration, osteotomies of the knee, primary and revision total hip and knee replacement.

Harry Khasigian, MD, is an American Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in reconstruction of bones and joints for arthritis, sports injuries or trauma of the upper and lower extremities. He graduated from the University of Southern California as a Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in premedicine. He received his medical degree from USC and then spent a year as a rotating intern at the L.A. County-USC Medical Center. Following that, he spent four years in an orthopedic surgery residency at UC Irvine/Orange County Medical Center.
Dr. Khasigian started a private practice of orthopedic surgery in Sacramento in 1979 and has maintained that practice to the present day. He has presented papers at the Annual National Orthopedic Academy meeting and at the UCI Alumni Meeting. He has been a clinical instructor at UC Davis and served on various hospital committees. He has been certified by the State of California as a Qualified Medical Examiner.
Most recently he has been involved in the Mercy/CHW Passion for Excellence Program and is a team physician at Jesuit High School. His practice and office is located at the Methodist Hospital of Sacramento campus.

Paul Sasaura, MD, has been saving lifestyles of patients of all ages. Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Sasaura enjoys all aspects of arthroscopy, pediatrics and sports medicine, and has a special interest in orthopedic trauma and joint reconstruction. He was one of the first surgeons in the area to perform computer assisted total joint replacement and excels at minimally invasive surgery.
After receiving his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Sasaura completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the UC Davis Medical Center. During his residency, he also trained at the Shriner's Hospital for Children. At the completion of his residency, Dr. Sasaura was awarded the Timothy Bray Award for Excellence in Orthopedic Trauma. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the California Orthopedic Association and the Paul R. Limpscomb Orthopedic Society. Dr. Sasaura frequently holds joint educational talks in the community and is chairman of the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Mercy San Juan Medical Center.

Robert Tamurian, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and fellowship trained in orthopedic oncology. Dr. Tamurian specializes in the surgical management of benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors. He also focuses on general arthroscopic and total joint reconstructive services, excelling at minimally invasive total hip replacement, patient-matched customized total knee replacements, and complex revision adult reconstruction with special emphasis on limb preservation surgery.
After receiving his medical degree from State University of New York, Upstate New York Medical Center, Dr. Tamurian completed a surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Michigan. He then served in the U.S. Navy as staff orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in trauma and sports medicine. Following his decorated naval career, he pursued additional training, completing an orthopedic oncology fellowship at the University of Florida. Dr. Tamurian is a member and fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, California Orthopaedic Association, and the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society.

Edward Younger, MD, specializes in orthopedic surgery and is specially trained in the use of the new MAKO system. He received his Medical Degree from Chicago Medical School where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the California Orthopedic Association.
Dr. Younger has extensive experience in total joint replacement, as well as reconstructive surgery of the knee, hip and shoulder. He has served on the orthopedic trauma staff at Mercy San Juan Medical Center for over 15 years and was instrumental in bringing computer navigation technology to Mercy San Juan. |
